The new SVF-1 from Tenderfoot Electronics is a great sounding state variable filter with voltage controlled cutoff and resonance. The SVF-1 self-oscillates when the resonance is turned up and has a 1V/octave input for use as a sine wave VCO.
The resonance circuit includes a Q control, a drive control, and a button to press if you’re feeling less polite and really want to push the resonance beyond its limit and get it sounding dirty! The Q control is also controllable via a CV input jack.
Low Pass, Band Pass, High Pass and Notch outputs are all available simultaneously.
