Gamut Repetitor is a four-channel loopable quantized random voltage and trigger generator, designed for generative melodic sequencing.
Its jammable interface has parameters for root note, deviation amount, direction, and loop length: continuously generate random voltages, then turn down the loop length to lock in a pattern. All four channels are continuously adjustable with the global parameters, and each channel can be advanced individually to generate different patterns. The trigger outputs can either pass through their respective input signals or generate trigger patterns for completely randomized note generation. Voltages are quantized to 1V per octave, and its internal quantizer can be set to one of 27 different scales via switches or CV.
Patch in a clock to generate four random patterns, or add it to a larger sequencing setup: Gamut Repetitor is an exciting and essential part of a generative toolkit.
