The A-140-2 contains two classic ADSR envelopes, which can be configured using jumpers. For example, it is possible to determine which parameters are influenced by external control voltages or whether inverted CV signals are emitted in addition to normal signals. – A very clever module! The module A-140-2 is composed of two identical envelopes. Each modulator features gate and re-trigger inputs as well as four potentiometers for editing the attack, decay, sustain and release phases. Furthermore, there are two CV outputs per envelope. Using jumpers on the circuit board, you can decide what signals are emitted:
Variant A: Both outputs emit normal envelope signals in the range of 0 to +10 V.
Variant B: One output emits normal envelope signals, the other works inverted.
In addition, there is one CV input plus attenuator per modulator. Here, you can use jumpers to determine which parameter(s) are to be modulated. – Just the decay? Decay and release? Maybe attack and decay? – You have the choice. On top of that, it is also possible to decide whether time values are to be increased or decreased via control voltages.
Other jumpers determine whether the gate inputs of the envelopes are normalized or not. Furthermore, you can switch the control via bus board on and off.
