We have teamed up with Damaru to bring you our new robust, lightweight, and affordable cases for Eurorack. Made at Elevator HQ in Bristol!
A range of portable suitcases in 3, 4, 6 and 7U with variations of HP width and base depth. These come in black with other colours and sizes available upon request.
We keep most of the 3, 6 and 7U cases in stock, however it doesn’t take us long to get others made specifically for your needs. So hit us up with any custom case ideas you’ve got and we will try and sort you out. Special order cases usually take up to 14 days to make, parts availability depending.
They are made using strong twin walled aluminium and tough ABS plastic corner pieces. Available with black or silver anodised aluminium sides and fittings: including lift off hinges, butterfly latches and colour matched rivets. The top and bottom panels are made with strong lightweight 5mm honeycomb polypropylene boards, offering 40% weight savings over standard plywood and a high level of protection.
Installed with rail guides and M3 threaded inserts. Kitted out with quality lift off hinges and butterfly latches that can be located to suit: front and back or on the sides. Fitted with a comfortable and strong handle.
The cases come in three different base depths: slim 50mm, standard 70mm and deep 105mm. If you have all “skiff friendly” modules with a depth of 40mm or less you may want to go for the slim base option. If you have some older Doepfer modules, or modules with many stacked boards on the back, you may want to go for the deep base option. The lid depth is 50mm allowing you to travel with your cables patched; ready to fire up the modular and get playing as soon as you unclip the lid. With the 4 and 7U cases you can choose the location of the 1U rail: top or bottom for 4U and top, middle or bottom for 7U.
