The Kontact Mic Expander is a small metal tin that houses a high quality 25mm Piezo wired to a robust 3.5mm Mono Jack.
The disadvantage of most contact mics on the market is that the fixed cable is prone to damage due but thankfully with our design you can swap the cable! This also make it much easier to use as you can choose a suitable length of cable to suit each situation.
The case is thin and flat to allow for good contact with other surfaces for efficient transfer of sound waves to the Piezo element. To permanently fix it to materials use double sided tape.
